Summer Relay is a relay race through the city center where a team of five runners works together to complete a total distance of 10 km.
Date: July 18, 2026
Start and finish of all distances: Astana Square
Distances: 10 km relay race; children's race 2,000 m, 1,000 m and 500 m.
Participant Categories:
- Men – men-only teams.
- Women – women-only teams.
- Mixed – teams consisting of men and women (at least one woman or one man must be included in the team).
- Business – corporate teams consisting of men and women (at least one woman or one man must be included in the team).
- Pro – teams of professional athletes, consisting of men and women (at least two women or two men must be included in the team).
Entry Fees:
- 10 km relay race (team of 5 runners) – 75,000 KZT (seventy-five thousand) tenge;
- 2,000 m children's race – 9,000 KZT (nine thousand) tenge;
- 1,000 m children's race – 8,000 KZT (eight thousand) tenge;
- 500 m children's race – 7,000 KZT (seven thousand) tenge.
To participate, all entrants must complete online registration and pay the applicable entry fee.
Age Categories:
- 10 km relay race – 15 years and older;
- Children's race 2,000 m – ages 12–14;
- Children's race 1,000 m – ages 9–11;
- Children's race 500 m – ages 4–5 and 6–8.
Race Kit Collection
Race kit collection will take place in Almaty on July 17 from 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM and on July 18 from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM. The exact location will be announced later.
