The Tau Jarys is an annual minor elevation cross-country race and a great family festival.

Venue: Almaty Region, Alatau Biathlon & Ski Complex

Start and finish lines for all distances: Alatau Biathlon & Ski Complex 

Distances: 2 km (10-14 years old), 6 km (15 years and older), 12 km (15 years and older), Nordic Walking – 6 km (15 years and older).

Please register online and pay the entry fee to participate.

Entry Fee:

• 12 km – 13,000 KZT,
• 6 km – 11,000 KZT,
• 2 km – 6,000 KZT,
• 6-km Nordic Walking –  11,000 KZT

Funds paid for participation are non-refundable and cannot be re-registered.

Starter kits will be issued on 17-18 March 2024 in Almaty from 10:00 to 20:00. The exact address to pickup your kit will be announced later.

Age categories:

• 2 km (children’s distance) – 10-12, 13-14 years old

• 6 km, 12 km – 15-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+ years old

• 6-km Nordic Walking – 15+ years old.

Overall winners in the age category for the 6-km and 12-m distance will be awarded a medal, diploma, cash voucher and valuable prizes.

Winners in age categories in the 2-km, 6-km and 12-km distances will receive a medal, diploma and valuable prizes.

All finishers of the run will receive a commemorative medal.
