There will be first open Championship on triathlon among women in Kazakhstan
60 Kazakh triathletes-amateurs at the age of 18 will come together in the struggle for the main awards GRACE RACE-2018. Such a sonorous name is for the upcoming open Championship of Almaty, organized by the Almaty Triathlon Federation (ATF). Start in format “indoor” will begin 3 June at 9 a.m. in the main Fitness Club “World Class Almaty” of the southern capital. Participants will have to overcome the "Super Sprint" distance in three stages: 400 m - swimming, 10 km – bicycle stage, 3 km - run.
- The main goal of our Championship is to popularize the triathlon among women, - said the Executive Director of the ATF, Ruslan Kogay. – We stand with a noble mission of equalizing gender equality in sport in general and in the triathlon in particular. In addition, our Federation has traditional tasks: the promotion of a healthy lifestyle and the popularization of this dynamic sport. On 3 June, we are also waiting for all amateurs of cyclical sports – swimming, running and cycling. At our Championship, girls will be able not only to really test their strength, but also get the necessary advice from the best coaches of the Federation.
Registration for the Championship will be held until 27th May 2018 (or upon reaching the limit of registered participants of 60 athletes) on the website of the co-organizer of the "Almaty Marathon".
