Heat, July… Atakent hosts Summer Race
On 14 July, Atakent Exhibition Center territory hosted Summer Race – a seasonal competition, which is held in the framework of the preparation for the annual international Almaty Marathon. 1000 brave sportsmen, who were not afraid of the heat, came to the start line and successfully covered their distances.

Almaty Marathon Swim Race for the second time will gather swimming fans in Kapchagai
On July 1, Heaven Club recreation zone on the Kapchagai reservoir will host the second Swim Race of the Almaty Marathon. 200 swimming and cycling sports fans will cover 1 km, 2 km and 3 km distances in open water.

How often, when you empty a bottle of water or another drink, you try to throw it not into the usual urn, but into a special one for collecting plastic containers? For sure, those who answer "often" will be few. The explanation is too simple - it is far from every district of the city you can find such equipped urns, and to carry one bottle somewhere, deviating from your route, is not a simple thing.
