Over the course of 14 years, the Foundation’s team has implemented more than 30 charitable projects with a total value exceeding 300 million tenge in Almaty, Shymkent, as well as in the Almaty and Turkistan regions. During this time, dozens of football fields, climbing walls, and sports grounds have been built, along with the installation of specialized equipment aimed at developing sensorimotor integration and the motor system, supporting children’s adaptation to society, and reducing the level of infant disability in Kazakhstan.

The project is aimed at introducing in Kazakhstan a modern method for treating vascular malformations — congenital abnormalities in the development of blood vessels, which manifest as spots or growths on a child’s body and can cause pain, bleeding, and serious complications.
The treatment will involve reversible electroporation combined with sclerotherapy — a gentle technology in which electrical impulses and medication are applied to the vascular formation, destroying only the “abnormal” vessels without affecting healthy tissues.
The implementation of the project will make it possible to perform up to 100 procedures annually and provide assistance to around 50 children each year.
The method will be introduced at the Scientific Center of Pediatrics and Pediatric Surgery in Almaty. As part of the project, the necessary equipment will be purchased, and three specialists will undergo training at the University Clinic in Halle, Germany.
Each year, about 40 children in Kazakhstan are born with vascular malformations, and currently their treatment is available only abroad. The project will enable high-tech therapy within the country and give children a chance for a full and healthy life.
The project envisions the installation of a laser unit at the “Regional Perinatal Center No. 3” in Turkistan to perform surgeries for retinopathy of prematurity. According to medical specialists, about 20–30% of prematurely born infants face this condition, and without treatment it may lead to blindness.
Early diagnosis and timely intervention make it possible to preserve a child’s vision. The installation of the laser unit will allow for the necessary surgeries to be carried out locally, without the need to transfer newborns to other regions.
Turkistan region ranks among the leaders in birth rates nationwide: over 60,000 children are born here annually, of which around 5,000 are premature. Every year, 120–200 infants develop a severe form of the disease requiring urgent treatment.
With an expected service life of 10 years, the equipment will enable 1,200–2,000 children to receive assistance, preserving their eyesight and preventing disability among the most vulnerable newborns of the region.
