RESULTS
According to Saltanat Kazybayeva, The Almaty Marathon Director, “Our expectations of a number of participants came true – it was the first time when 1,000 people toed the starting line of the Winter Race, of which more than a half represented the most popular age group – 15 to 34 years old. The sports in general and running in particular can overcome any conventionalities – a team of visually impaired people took part in the race, and they represented the unique project The Sports without Borders. They participated in the race without an admission fee.”
