MORE THAN 650 PARTICIPANTS TOED THE STARTING LINE OF THE BICYCLE RACING “TOUR OF WORLD CLASS ALMATY”
On August 20, which is the Sports Holiday in the Republic of Kazakhstan, one of the mostly expected bicycle competition of the season – the professional bicycle racing for nonprofessionals "Tour of World Class Almaty”– took place. More than 650 sportsmen toed the starting line. The event was organized within the scope of celebration of the 90th anniversary of the Great Kazakh Scientist, the Academician Shakhmardan Yessenov, after whose name the scientific and educational foundation has been established, and this particular foundation is the founder of “Almaty Marathon”.

Tour of World Class Almaty bicycle race takes place in Almaty in August
On August 2, almaty-marathon.kz opens registration for the annual Tour of World Class Almaty bicycle race. The event will take place on August 20. It is organized by the Almaty Marathon, World Class Almaty and the Shakhmardan Yessenov Science and Education Foundation. The event will be held as a part of celebration of the 90th birthday anniversary of the great Kazakh scientist and academician.
